John Woolley is one of the world's most distinguished sporting clays champions and instructors, whose career has spanned over four decades of excellence. He founded his renowned shooting school, Fieldsports, in England, where he developed the revolutionary teaching methods that have produced countless champions at every level of competition.
His competitive record is extraordinary: World Professional Doubles Champion (1987), Beretta World Sporting Clays Champion (1990), twelve gold medals and one silver medal representing Great Britain on their National Team, and Captain of both the US Veterans Sporting Clays Team and US Veterans FITASC Team. In 2015, John was inducted into the National Sporting Clays Association's Hall of Fame, cementing his legacy as one of the sport's greatest ambassadors.
John's expertise extends beyond competition to course design—FITASC selected him to design championship courses worldwide, making him the only person to design all four major events in the world calendar in a single year (1991). In 2025, John passed Woolley Shooting on to Nick McGlory and has now taken up instruction full time with Woolley Shooting Clay Sports, continuing his mission to share his knowledge and passion with shooters of all levels.

Jonathan began his competitive shotgun career eight years ago, quickly classing among the most distinguished shooters in the country. Throughout the last five years, Jonathan has been coaching and mentoring new and experienced shooters, implementing John's proven shooting methods with great success.
Jonathan helps with the Youth Team based at Saltwater's Shooting Club and enjoys mentoring shooters throughout their career progression. His competitive achievements include being a multiple FITASC All American Team member and winning the Florida State FITASC Championship in 2019. He works with shooters of all skill levels, from beginners to experienced competition clay shooters.

Dale Bouchillon first met John Woolley in 2007 as a C class shooter seeking clay shooting instruction. After his first lesson, his love for shotgun sports flourished. Dale continued regular lessons with John, working his way up the ranks and fine-tuning his shooting techniques. Before his shooting career, Dale was an avid golfer and martial artist (3rd degree black belt).
Today, Dale travels to gun clubs throughout the Southeast coaching approximately 450 students per year, from 5-man clinics to private individual lessons. He serves as head coach of the Savannah Lowcountry Annie Oakleys and has mastered gun fitting skills with extensive knowledge of premium shotgun lines. Dale was inducted into the Georgia Sporting Clays Association Hall of Fame in 2020 and has won multiple international medals, including Gold at the World Sporting Clays Championship.
